Fire Retardant Coating
Protect structure. Buy time.

During a fire, unprotected steel reaches its critical failure temperature (~550 °C) in as little as 10 minutes. Our intumescent coatings swell into an insulating char that keeps the steel below that threshold for 60, 90 or 120 minutes.
Available as water-based and solvent-based systems for interior and semi-exposed applications, plus flame-retardant coatings for timber substrates.
